Job Title: Information Security Engineer (Crypto/Certificates)
Location: Denver, CO 80202
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Duration: 12-18 Months Contract (with possible extension/conversion)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours
About the Role
We are hiring an Information Security Engineer to join our client s cybersecurity and cryptography team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects around passwords, certificates, and cryptography in the cloud. You will play a critical role in strengthening system security, encryption, and certificate lifecycle management across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Support enterprise-wide vendor applications and tools for digital certificate management lifecycle.
- Work with digital certificates across VPM, applications, and network devices including printers.
- Design, develop, and implement systems that protect system boundaries, harden devices, and secure sensitive data.
- Contribute to cloud security initiatives, ensuring compliance with cryptographic standards.
- Drive complex technical security engineering projects from inception to delivery, raising risks and vulnerabilities proactively.
- Provide subject matter expertise in digital certificates, cryptography, and cloud security.
What We re Looking For
- 3 5 years of experience in information security technology.
- Strong expertise in Post-Quantum Cryptography and its impact on encryption.
- Hands-on experience with Windows/IIS administration.
- Experience with TLS, SSH, key exchange protocols, and message authentication.
- Knowledge of cloud security and key protection in AWS/Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.
Plusses
- DevOps experience (e.g., Jenkins).
- Background in .NET or Middleware engineering.
- Prior experience in the banking domain.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $80 $85 per hour
