About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer who combines technical skill with architectural thinking —, someone who can both build and explain data solutions end-to-end. In this role, you’ll design and optimize data pipelines using AWS, Python, and Informatica Cloud (or comparable technologies), enabling scalable, high-performance data workflows that drive business intelligence and analytics.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using AWS, Python, and Informatica Cloud (IDMC) or similar tools.
- Integrate data from multiple systems, ensuring high levels of quality, consistency, and availability for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders — to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
Develop, optimize, and automate data workflows that support reporting, analytics, and data science initiatives.
Apply data modeling best practices for both structured and unstructured data environments.
Participate in peer reviews for design and code to ensure adherence to standards and maintainability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing data workflows to improve scalability and reliability.
Communicate complex data architectures in clear, business-friendly terms.
Continuously refine data engineering processes, advocating for efficiency, scalability, and modernization.
What You Bring
Must have: Proven, hands-on experience with AWS and Python
Deep expertise in either Informatica Cloud (IDMC) or data pipeline development (3–4 years minimum if pipeline-focused).
Strong SQL development skills with experience building ETL/ELT workflows.
Understanding of data integration, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration principles.
Familiarity with real-time streaming and modern data tools (Kafka, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain end-to-end architecture clearly.
A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Who You Are
- You’re not just a builder, you’re a problem-solver who understands why your architecture matters.
- ???????You thrive in hybrid cloud environments and enjoy creating order from data complexity.
- ???????You can articulate your technical process clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- ???????You balance precision with pragmatism, knowing when to optimize and when to iterate.
- You take ownership, seek clarity, and bring curiosity to every challenge.
