Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate them into clear technical product capabilities
Own and manage the product backlog; prioritize features, technical improvements, and bugs based on value, risk, and effort.
Work closely with engineering teams to refine stories, clarify requirements, and ensure successful and timely delivery.
Ensure alignment with architecture and development, testing, infrastructure support, security, and compliance standards.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives to support Agile delivery processes.
Support efforts around adoption of new features by communicating value to stakeholders and supporting change management activities in agile delivery process.
Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvement and iteration.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a technical environment.
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience working with development teams on data platforms, APIs, Microservices or other composable architecture, infrastructure, or enterprise applications.
Familiarity with data governance concepts, technical architecture, or cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to make trade-offs and prioritize effectively in complex technical environments.
[Optional] Certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or similar.
Nice to Have
Background in software engineering, data engineering, or systems architecture.
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Aha!
Knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks, or compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
