Job Title: Salesforce CRM Implementation Project Manager Government Sector

Overview:
The City is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, replacing its current Microsoft Dynamics platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing Salesforce CRM implementations for municipal or government agencies.
Prior experience working with Catalyst Consulting Group is preferred but not required. The Project Manager will represent the City s interests, ensuring all project goals and timelines are achieved within the approved budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
- Lead data conversion planning, data mapping, extraction, cleansing, testing, and issue resolution from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce
System Interfaces & Integration:
- Ensure all system interfaces are properly designed, developed, documented, and implemented
- Oversee phone system integration for call agents, ensuring compliance with the City s technical, security, and branding standards
Dashboards, Reports & Portals:
- Design and develop dashboards and reports to improve visibility, tracking, and service level monitoring
- Ensure web portal and mobile application development aligns with ADA compliance, City style guidelines, and technical specifications
System Review & Customization:
- Review Salesforce installation and ensure performance meets expectations
- Ensure customizations are minimal and do not interfere with future upgrades, support, or maintenance
Project Oversight & Best Practices:
- Provide internal coordination and planning during project ramp-up
- Assist in finalizing scope, timelines, and resource assignments
- Support infrastructure and implementation planning
- Participate in planning meetings and provide ongoing project oversight
- Ensure resource roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
- Advise on best practices for workflow design, automation, and SLA configuration
Training & Change Management:
- Develop training environments and robust training plans for all user roles
- Schedule and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring issue tracking and resolution
- Oversee change management planning and documentation
- Ensure support responsibilities (RACI matrix) are clearly communicated and understood
Go-Live & Transition:
- Develop and enforce a detailed production cutover checklist
- Oversee go-live execution, production transition, and post-implementation support
