only one round virtual interview with CAT.        Position’s Contributions to Work Group:  Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.  To support large mining equipment/mining equipment  Test validation – validating the functionality of the software; common area – carrying out the requirements; system level testing; large mining truck; working with the mechanics     Typical Day or Week in the Role  Typical task breakdown:  Plan, execute, and document machine level testing.  Interaction with team:  Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics.  Team Structure  3 team leaders, several senior engineers, and several junior engineers.  Work environment:  20% office and 80% on your feet either in the shop or local field.  PPE gear – boots, glasses, uniform     Candidate Requirements  Education & Experience Required:  Years of experience: 2 years  Degree requirement: B.S. engineering, no 2 year degrees, no Masters (overqualified)  Do you accept internships as job experience: yes  Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role: mechanic, construction, landscaping     Top 3 Skills  Attention to detail  Communication  Teamwork  -              Away from the desk most of the time  Hands on equipment  Out around the equipment; heavy equipment  Planning, executing, data acquisition work, documentation,  General contractor project management role  With Team leaders to direct day to day workers  Hands on experience – construction job, mechanical assignment, cars     Additional Technical Skills  Troubleshooting     (Desired)  Data acquisition
