Senior SAP FI Consultant

Travel- 100%

Joining Location- Initial remote but resource should be ready to relocate

Must be willing and able to work on-site in Tennessee, USA.

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on SAP FI module implementation experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in U.S. financial localization requirements, strong functional skills across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting, and a proven ability to independently lead solution workshops. Experience in the automotive or automotive parts manufacturing industry is highly preferred. This position requires working on-site in Tennessee, USA.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate business requirement workshops with finance stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system configurations.

Design, configure, and test SAP FI modules, including GL, AR, AP, and Asset Accounting.

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and U.S. localization settings in SAP.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, CO, PP, etc.) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Provide expert guidance during system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Support data migration activities for finance-related master data and transactional data.

Deliver end-user training and create functional documentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues during go-live and hypercare phases.

Qualifications & Skills

10+ years of SAP FI implementation experience, with at least 3 full-cycle projects in a lead consultant role.

Strong understanding of U.S. financial localization, tax rules, and compliance requirements.

Proficient in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting.

Hands-on experience with integration between FI and CO, MM, SD modules.

Familiarity with automotive or automotive parts manufacturing processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to conduct workshops with senior stakeholders.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.

Must be willing and able to work on-site in Tennessee, USA.
