Job Details

The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.

Detailed list of Job Duties and Responsibilities: -

  • Coordinate and support projects throughout the project lifecycle Support project management activities.
  • Assist project managers with project issues and risks to prevent potential barriers to project. Collaborate with business analysts and business owners to help define the project scope and objectives.
  • Follow up on status of tasks across all IT teams, as requested by the project manager(s), escalate as needed.
  • Prepare and submit correct documentation into system s used by the agency.
  • Review with agency and other IT teams project schedules and milestone dates. Help create and maintain relevant project artifacts such as project charter/scope, project plans, back log list, stories, status reports and operational checklists.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in IT environments Practical experience creating and implementing project plans and schedules according to project goals and objectives.
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Ability to self-motivate and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to adjust to changing situations to meet emergencies or changing program or production requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with varying levels, team members, peers, management, business stakeholders. Ability to prioritize, execute and manage work in a matrixed, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with diverse user groups and provide support to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience effectively using MS Office tools Hands-on experience in managing escalated issues and dispute resolution of any components of a project with the ability to understand when to escalate issues to senior management. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality Prior Government or Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required Understanding and knowledge of Agile methodology and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
