Are you a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Electrical Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Permanent Electrical Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. As a leading company in the industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of our construction projects, from design to completion. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for career progression.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Overseeing all electrical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Creating, implementing, and reviewing project plans and schedules.
3. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure the project's success.
4. Ensuring all electrical work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
5. Managing and supervising the work of junior engineers and technicians.
6. Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
7. Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
8. Conducting quality control checks and inspections to ensure all work meets the required standards.
9. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
10. Assisting with budgeting and financial management of projects.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
1. At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in using project management software and CAD software.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
5. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
