Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master who brings a flexible, pragmatic, and team-focused mindset to Agile delivery. This role supports high-impact technical teams many of whom work outside traditional software development in areas like security operations, analytics, and investigative work.

You ll collaborate with cross-functional professionals, including engineers configuring tools, analysts interpreting critical data, and investigators responding to potential risks. Success in this role means being able to adapt Agile frameworks to fit non-SDLC work, creating custom delivery approaches, and fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and delivery for multiple technical teams with diverse roles and objectives.
  • Apply Agile principles as guiding frameworks, not rigid rulebooks adapting practices to meet real-world needs.
  • Build a positive, collaborative environment, identifying and resolving team dynamics challenges with professionalism.
  • Facilitate communication across teams and leadership to align goals and remove obstacles.
  • Drive team ownership of process improvement and encourage feedback loops.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ideally in fast-paced or regulated environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with a low-ego, team-first leadership style.
  • Experience working with teams outside traditional development, such as security, analytics, or infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Confluence; understanding of Gherkin or behavior-driven development (BDD) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to customize Agile based on team structure, work type, and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security, risk, fraud, or compliance-related project environments.
  • Background working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
  • Exposure to team members with diverse professional backgrounds, including military or investigative roles.

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Influence how Agile is applied in unique and evolving environments.
  • Support critical functions beyond code development where business risk and operational resilience matter.
  • Be part of a forward-thinking, people-first culture that values adaptability and results.
