We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master who brings a flexible, pragmatic, and team-focused mindset to Agile delivery. This role supports high-impact technical teams many of whom work outside traditional software development in areas like security operations, analytics, and investigative work.
You ll collaborate with cross-functional professionals, including engineers configuring tools, analysts interpreting critical data, and investigators responding to potential risks. Success in this role means being able to adapt Agile frameworks to fit non-SDLC work, creating custom delivery approaches, and fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies and delivery for multiple technical teams with diverse roles and objectives.
- Apply Agile principles as guiding frameworks, not rigid rulebooks adapting practices to meet real-world needs.
- Build a positive, collaborative environment, identifying and resolving team dynamics challenges with professionalism.
- Facilitate communication across teams and leadership to align goals and remove obstacles.
- Drive team ownership of process improvement and encourage feedback loops.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ideally in fast-paced or regulated environments.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with a low-ego, team-first leadership style.
- Experience working with teams outside traditional development, such as security, analytics, or infrastructure.
- Proficient in Confluence; understanding of Gherkin or behavior-driven development (BDD) is a plus.
- Proven ability to customize Agile based on team structure, work type, and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with security, risk, fraud, or compliance-related project environments.
- Background working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
- Exposure to team members with diverse professional backgrounds, including military or investigative roles.
