Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator in Burton, Michigan. The primary role of the Network Administrator will be to maintain our clients' computing environment by identifying network needs, implementing upgrades, and monitoring network performance. This role is crucial for managing and troubleshooting our clients' Windows Server infrastructure and ensuring that the technology backbone supports the staff and business operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Ensure the integrity and security of the network data, servers, and backup systems.
Respond to network administration needs and issues as they arise.
Work with the IT team to optimize and enhance the network and system performance.
Train and guide staff on basic network administration and troubleshooting procedures.
Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems.

Requirements

Proficiency in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Proficient in Firewall Technologies
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft software and Active Directory
Ability to implement Backup Technologies
Competency in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
Strong design skills
Understanding of LAN - Local Area Network and WAN - Wide Area Network
Ability to perform Basic Network Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Cisco Networking and Comptia Network+
Experience in Network Analysis and Network Administration
Understanding of Network Hardware and Network Infrastructure
Proficiency in managing Router Switches and Firewall
Capable of Hardware & Software Installation
Familiarity with various Hardware and Software systems.
