Job Description
ECS is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to work in our Warner Robins, GA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
ECS is seeking a highly qualified Senior Database Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
The candidate will be involved with product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development and support, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance software and Mission Support (MS) business lines. Candidate will assist in evaluating current systems, planning of large-scale system projects, purchasing, installing and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing/implementing Elasticsearch for use in production environment. Experience must include familiarity with utilizing Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and performing analytics on data.
- Experience demonstrating proficiency with data aggregations, writing complex search queries, data modeling/indexing, cluster management/architecture to include scaling, development with scripting languages (such as Python, BASH, PowerShell), and understanding database structures.
- Experience utilizing tools such as Kibana, Logstash, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Individual(s) will be expected to perform with minimal to no assistance from junior level organic staff.
Required Skills

- Experience demonstrating proficiency with data aggregations, writing complex search queries, data modeling/indexing, cluster management/architecture to include scaling, development with scripting languages (such as Python, BASH, PowerShell), and understanding database structures.
- Experience utilizing tools such as Kibana, Logstash, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Security + CE certificate
Desired Skills
- 5+ Years' experience working on DoD programs is highly desired
- Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies.
- Possess and applies expert knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of Database Engineering.
