Our Financial client in Ottawa, is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and experience supporting large-scale projects involving Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). This opportunity is with a high-profile client in the public sector, requiring Secret-level security clearance and on-site presence in Ottawa 8 days per month.
The successful candidate will support the Clients Cyber Access Control team in driving key initiatives related to IAM deployment, stakeholder engagement, solution evaluation, and documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- 10+ years of business analysis experience, including stakeholder engagement
- 5+ years as a Senior BSA on large-scale IAM projects with:
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Conditional Access Policies, Identity Governance, MFA, SAML, OATH
- Deep understanding of IAM concepts and enterprise access migrations
- Proven ability to write clear documentation, requirements, and functional specs
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and QA/testing processesNice to Have:
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (lifecycle mgmt., RBAC, policy enforcement)
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) designation
- Data analytics or automation experience (scripts, macros, etc.)
- The successful candidate will support the Clients Cyber Access Control team in driving key initiatives related to IAM deployment, stakeholder engagement, solution evaluation, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities across departments to define and document business/system processes and requirements
- Support project teams in deploying Microsoft Entra ID components (Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Governance, etc.)
- Conduct stakeholder consultations and facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical resources
- Develop user stories, business artifacts, and solution specifications
- Create user acceptance test plans and support testing and training
- Prepare communication materials and end-user documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders during solution evaluations and deployments
- Participate in incident troubleshooting and service recovery, including overtime as needed
