  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship within the gameplay engineering team, exemplifying high standards in code quality and engineering practices.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside teams in design, art, and production to align gameplay systems with overarching project goals.
  • Research and Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest trends in game development and generative AI. Explore new technologies and methods to enhance game development and player experiences.
  • Creative Initiative: Thrive in an environment that encourages stepping out of one's comfort zone to drive creative aspects of game experiments and development.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an engineer, with a history of shipping multiple AAA, casual, or mobile games.
  • A profound understanding of game design, including mechanics, user interfaces, AI behavior, and game loops.
  • Advanced skills in game programming languages such as C++, C#.
  • Experience with major game engines, including Unity3D and Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with backend development such as REST server and AWS
  • Versatility in various game development domains with a can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills; capable of innovative thinking in a fast-paced R&D environment.
  • Strong communication skills; able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passionate gamer with a preference for quick, focused game development projects over multi-year cycles.
