We are currently looking for an ambitious Software Engineer II to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care.
As a Software Engineer II you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing application software for a surgical robotics product.
Utilizing development best practices, including continuous software testing.
Acquiring and maintaining domain expertise of relevant software technologies and products.
Working with systems engineering & software QA teams to generate software requirements, design specifications, and assist with software test methods.

Experience in use of complex state machines preferred.
Experience in GUI frameworks such as Qt, WPF preferred.
Experience with multi-threaded software deployment preferred.
Experience developing medical device software within FDA, ISO, and IEC guideline preferred.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical area.
Minimum 3 years of experience developing application software required.
Strong C++ skills required.
Demonstrated skills in Object-Oriented Design and Analysis, with the use of UML required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams required.
Familiarity with agile software development required.
