SAP Project Manager | 5 years experience | SAP Certified | Remote | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a SAP Project Manager (SuccessFactors) with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to support an Arkansas-based public sector client. This is a 7-month contract opportunity with potential for extension.
START DATE: 7/14
RATE RANGE: $70-90/hr (not gauranteed, dependent on qualifications and experience)
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of direct experience managing end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors projects (scoping, scheduling, budget allocation)
- Experience working with various SAP SuccessFactors modules including Onboarding, Recruiting, and Employee Central
- Understanding of SAP HCM/ERP and its integration with SuccessFactors
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR)
- Experience managing contracts, deliverables, and SLAs
- Must have a blend of project management expertise with technical, functional, and stakeholder management skills
REQUIRED CERTS:
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SuccessFactors (Modules: Employee Central, Onboarding, or Recruiting HIGHLY DESIRABLE)
PREFERRED CERTS:
- PMP
- Agile/Scrum
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with government HR structures, policies, and reporting needs
- Experience working with SAP, implementation partners, and third-party vendors
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS: SAP SuccessFactors (Modules: Recruiting, Onboarding, and/or Employee Central)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage organizational change initiatives, user adoption, and training
- Manage communications and expectations across diverse stakeholder groups
- Oversee test planning, execution (SIT, UAT), and defect management
- Ensure solution quality and compliance with business requirements
- Maintain knowledge of SuccessFactors capabilities, public sector HR compliance, and configuration best practices
- Oversee project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and user manuals.
- Coordinate end-user training, knowledge transfer, and support handover
- Manage business, IT, and external vendors
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and status updates
- Work closely with lead consultants, integration teams, and client-side stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely configurations
- Participate in regular project status meetings and provide updates on configuration progress and blockers
