RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Content Designer to join their growing, and fast paced team in Greenwood Village, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with product designers, developers, and stakeholders to create content that supports both user needs and business goals
* Develop user-centered content strategies that guide product experiences, ensuring clear information architecture, labeling, and content hierarchy
* Write and maintain high-quality, user-facing copy (e.g., UI labels, error messages, CTAs, instructional text) that is purposeful, concise, and aligns with design intent
* Create and manage copy decks to document content that appears in wireframes and prototypes
* Participate in content design reviews and contribute pragmatic UX writing solutions, balancing ideal UX outcomes with technical and business constraints
* Field and synthesize competing stakeholder feedback, providing rationale for content decisions and negotiating edits while keeping users at the center
* Contribute to and evolve content guidelines, voice and tone standards, and best practices to drive consistency and quality across products
* Leverage user research and usability testing insights to inform and validate content decisions
* Present content strategies and design work clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences
* Stay current with trends in UX writing, content design, and digital product development to continuously improve team practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, HCI, Design, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or digital product content strategy
* Proven experience delivering effective content in digital interfaces such as websites, apps, and product flows
* Strong grasp of UX principles and the role of content in enhancing usability and accessibility
* Demonstrated ability to write with clarity, empathy, and precision, especially in tight design spaces
* Experience creating and managing copy decks and working within design systems
* Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to balance competing inputs and move content forward
* Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar design software
* Familiarity with content management systems, prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure), and agile workflows
* Portfolio that shows a strong mix of UX writing and content strategy examples, ideally within product teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
