Senior Scrum Master
W2 Contract
Hybrid (3 days on site 2 days remote)

Job Summary:
The Senior Scrum Master will facilitate Agile and Scrum practices across two teams supporting PINACLE modernization initiatives. The role involves coaching teams, managing delivery metrics, addressing technical risks, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-quality software development aligned with strategic modernization goals.
Responsibilities:
• Guide teams in adopting and applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to meet project objectives
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies, ensuring Scrum process adherence
• Manage traditional project management tasks including scope definition, staffing, status updates, and risk management
• Lead vendor discussions and meetings to facilitate team support
• Track and report on Agile and technical risk metrics, providing leadership insights
• Define and communicate product quality expectations across teams
• Collaborate on scheduling, defect remediation, and refactoring activities to prevent technical debt
• Author user stories, acceptance criteria, and contribute to testing efforts
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Agile and Scrum facilitation
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Java-based applications
• Project management and risk tracking
• Stakeholder communication and reporting
• Requirements authoring and testing support
• Software quality and process improvement techniques
• Knowledge of quality control, cost techniques, and strategic planning
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
