Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President, Business Analysis in Jersey City, NJ.
Perform data analysis and requirement gathering for various platforms. Create roadmaps and work with stakeholders to execute on the roadmap. Responsible for Epic creation, story board, and story mapping to achieve technology initiatives. Define use cases, perform data mapping, mockups. Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Provide subject matter expertise to design systems, design architecture, and develop solutions for reference data, trading related initiatives. Work with the QA team to develop test strategies, identify areas to provide automation testing and implement the same. Design performance and reporting metrics for Wealth Management domain. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and IT Teams to gather requirement and understand the needs of various initiatives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies in financial services and assess potential impact on business processes and systems.
Salary : Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $ 156000 and $ 200000 p er year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: SQL; JSON; Apache Message queues (MQ); Visio; Object Oriented Analysis (OOAD) Techniques; SQL Server; Oracle; Excel VBA macros; Teradata; SQL HADR; Db2; and Apache SOLR.
Requires two (2) years of experience with: Market data; Microsoft Azure Cloud; and Apache Kafka.
