Job Details
Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
- Minimum of 8+ year s of IBM Mainframe exposure using JCL, Cobol, DB2/IMS, EZETRIEVE/SAS, VSAM.
- Good knowledge on MF file structures along with DB2 RDBMS.
- Exposure to sanitization or data masking techniques.
- Experienced in working with IMS and DB2 databases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels.
- Ability to work closely with Developers and Architects to strategize and drive solutions to complex requirements.
- Familiarity with dataflow structure within a complex environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint skills.
- Strong Analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy.
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies.
- Experience with IBM DataStage.
Responsibilities:
- Looking for a candidate who is well versed in building level integrated testing environments on IBM Mainframes.
- The team member will be required to interact with application teams, architects, governance, and audit for defining the strategies required to onboard new applications.
- They will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, processes, and documentation to address product vulnerabilities.
- They will be reporting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to help drive the success of projects.
