Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Duration: Fulltime

Job Description:

  • Minimum of 8+ year s of IBM Mainframe exposure using JCL, Cobol, DB2/IMS, EZETRIEVE/SAS, VSAM.
  • Good knowledge on MF file structures along with DB2 RDBMS.
  • Exposure to sanitization or data masking techniques.
  • Experienced in working with IMS and DB2 databases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels.
  • Ability to work closely with Developers and Architects to strategize and drive solutions to complex requirements.
  • Familiarity with dataflow structure within a complex environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint skills.
  • Strong Analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy.
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • Experience with IBM DataStage.

Responsibilities:

  • Looking for a candidate who is well versed in building level integrated testing environments on IBM Mainframes.
  • The team member will be required to interact with application teams, architects, governance, and audit for defining the strategies required to onboard new applications.
  • They will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, processes, and documentation to address product vulnerabilities.
  • They will be reporting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to help drive the success of projects.
