Job Details

Senior SAP Change Management (SAP Solution Manager) Consultant

Client: State of SC

Duration: 1-3 Years

Location: Columbia, SC ( Need Local or Relocate )

Scope of Project:

Assist in establishing an effective SAP Change Management process including:

Process Development

Process Documentation

Development and Implementation of SAP Change Management tool (SAP Solution Manager)

Duties:

Review the current Change Management processes, and make recommendations for improvement and enhancement.

Work with Technical and Functional teams to adjust Processes as necessary to align with Tools and Best Practices.

Configure the SAP Solution Manager tool to match the defined Change Management processes.

Document the SAP Change Management processes (both Functional and Technical).

Train the team on SAP Change Management processes.

Processes in Scope include:

Request for Change (RFC)

System Upgrades

SAP OSS Note Installations

Support Pack Installation

Required Skills:

Strong experience in development and implementation of SAP Change Management processes

Strong experience in development, implementation, maintenance of SAP Solution Manager tool for Change Management

5+ years of experience in SAP ECC, SRM, BW

5+ years of experience in SAP Upgrades, OSS Notes, Support Packs, Troubleshooting

Preferred Skills (optional):

Public Sector industry experience

Microsoft Windows Server, and SQL Database technology

Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)

Knowledge of other SAP Change Management tools
