Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead IT Business Analyst to support critical business processes and systems within a financial services environment. This role involves leading requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation support for enterprise-level initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in business analysis, technical documentation, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies, with a strong understanding of banking operations and technologies.

Technical Skills

Must-Have:

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and elicit design requirements
  • Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Business analysis, requirements gathering, and user story development
  • Development of business use cases
  • Proficiency with MS Teams

Nice-to-Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in banking or financial services
  • Experience with ARGO Teller systems
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems

Key Responsibilities

Project & Initiative Support:

  • Create, refine, and manage scope, controls, performance testing, and requirements (Waterfall)
  • Define and manage features and user stories (Agile)
  • Develop and maintain business processes, workflows, systems documentation, and implementation plans
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Ensure accountability for deliverables, budget, and timeline

Knowledge Management:

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of IT applications and their business impact
  • Train team members and end-users on systems and processes
  • Mentor other Business Systems Analysts (BSAs)
  • Identify and document process improvements and optimization opportunities
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Maintain internal documentation and stakeholder communication

Meeting Facilitation:

  • Lead grooming sessions to define/refine features, user stories, scope, and requirements
  • Participate in bug review and triage sessions
  • Serve as SME in project meetings
  • Present scope and participate in Agile planning sessions

Testing & Production Support:

  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordination
  • Provide post-implementation support for systems and applications

Azure DevOps (ADO) Management:

  • Maintain team boards and project dashboards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
