Description
We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an opportunity to manage critical IT applications and support systems while driving innovation and efficiency. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless application design, development, and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT applications and ensure their ongoing support.
Manage a team responsible for maintaining the City's administrative, financial systems, and web development.
Collaborate with internal departments to establish policies and procedures for technical documentation, quality assurance, and staff training.
Develop a comprehensive web presence strategy to enhance e-government capabilities across the organization.
Coordinate with training teams to implement effective programs for PeopleSoft and other systems.
Ensure applications run efficiently, error-free, and meet the needs of end-users.
Lead interdisciplinary teams to deliver IT solutions on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
Maintain a plan for continuous improvement of application development operations using state-of-the-art technologies.
Engage with stakeholders to identify and implement effective IT solutions.
Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Minimum of five years of experience in designing and implementing complex computer applications in a Windows PC/Server environment.
At least two years of supervisory or managerial experience in IT or information systems.
Familiarity with public sector applications is highly desirable.
Knowledge of formal application development methodologies is a plus.
Experience with PeopleSoft or other financial management systems is preferred.
Certification in data processing or a related field may substitute for up to two years of work experience, but not for supervisory experience.
Expertise in SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Development, and Microsoft SharePoint.
