Role: Support Engineer
Duration: 12 months with extension
Location: Chicago, IL - locals only.
Hybrid onsite 2 days in the office per week
Interview: 2 round Video
Top 3 skill sets required for this role:
o 1. Infoblox experience. At least 2 years
o 2. DNS and DHCP experience
o 3. SNOW experience
Nice to have skills or certifications:
o 1. Active Directory experience
Job Summary:
The Support Engineer will work within DDI Operations (DNS, DHCP, IP provisioning).
Day to Day responsibilities may include:
-Utilizing Infoblox as a DNS/IPAM management solution
-Create/Maintain DNS records, including A, CName, MX, TXT, DKIM, and SPF type records
-Manage IPAM data consisting of 3 data centers, plenty of subnets, and ensuring data is applied consistently and correctly for all requests.
-Troubleshoot any issues Developers and App Support Teams encounter in regards to DNS.
-Experience in Infoblox Network Insight is a plus
Other responsibilities encountered may include:
-Working within Network Insight
-Reclaim IPs and Subnet Deletions
-Condense Discovered Data within the Infoblox appliance, and make corrections to the live database as needed.
Applicants should:
-Have Experience in change management processes. Familiarity with ServiceNow ticket management platform is a plus.
-Be comfortable with being part of an on-call rotation for teams and be available to jump in and assist on-demand.
-Be able to work in a team atmosphere, able to learn quickly, and be a self-motivator.
-Have solid documentation skills and be able to follow the ITIL Change Management process.
