Boomi Integration Architect

Job Overview:

As a Boomi Integration Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using the Boomi platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, architect integration solutions, and oversee the execution of integration projects. Your role will involve ensuring seamless data flow between various applications and systems, optimizing performance, and adhering to best practices for integration design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements.
• Design scalable and efficient integration solutions using the Boomi platform.
• Develop solution architecture blueprints, including data mappings, transformation rules, and error handling mechanisms.
• Ensure alignment of integration solutions with business objectives and industry best practices.

Development and Implementation:

• Lead the development and configuration of integration processes within the Boomi platform.
• Work closely with development teams to implement custom connectors, transformations, and business rules.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure quality and consistency in integration implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integration processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues related to integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of integration solutions with overall business objectives.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of integration processes to ensure efficient data flow.
• Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of integration workflows.
• Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring within integration solutions.

Documentation and Training:

• Document integration solution designs, configurations, and implementation details.
• Provide training and guidance to technical teams on best practices for Boomi integration development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in integration architecture and development, with a focus on middleware platforms such as Boomi.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex integration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with the Boomi platform, including AtomSphere, Integration, API Management, and Master Data Hub.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based technologies and architecture.
• Experience with Message Queues like AWS SQS. SNS is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as Boomi Developer or Boomi Architect are desirable.
