Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (2 years job-related experience) or a Master's degree and 0 years of experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.

What you'll be doing:

Showing initiative and exercising judgement, you'll manage the equipment calibration and repair services for several GDMS sites and a variety of measurement equipment (mechanical, electrical, RF etc). You'll work with equipment custodians in Manufacturing, QA, and Engineering, along with Supply Chain and calibration providers to assure calibrations are done on time and meet calibration standards. You'll maintain the calibration database and systems, analyze and interpret calibration data to verify compliance, identify issues or trends and implement solutions. You'll also support internal and external audits as the calibration site representative.

Participating on the calibration team, you'll collaborate with and support other team members on calibration processes, performance and improvements.

This position will be basd out of Marion, VA and support several GDMS sites. Occassional travel may be required.

USD $75,178.00 - USD $80,411.00 /Yr.
