SAIC is actively seeking an experienced Acquisition System Engineer to provide critical Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for our flagship program, Landmark AOS, situated in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS stands as a cornerstone SETA endeavor dedicated to bolstering the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in the comprehensive acquisition of systems throughout their lifecycle.

Picture yourself as an integral part of our team, operating as an Acquisition System Engineer. You'll be at the forefront of collaborative efforts with esteemed government leaders, crafting visionary acquisition strategies, and producing essential documentation to steer program development. Your mission? To coordinate the inception, solicitation, evaluation, and flawless execution of groundbreaking prototypes across a spectrum of contracting avenues such as IDIQ Task Orders, BAAs, OTAs, and CSOs. Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in shaping indispensable acquisition artifacts like dynamic statements of work, meticulous CDRLs, pivotal In Scope Determinations, and innovative proposal evaluation criteria-all designed to propel the advancement of cutting-edge space systems.

Qualifications

To embark on this exciting journey, you'll need the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Government program management / contracting / acquisition experience.
  • Experience with non-traditional/non-FAR acquisition vehicles (IDIQ, BAA, OT, CSO, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and communications skills
