Duration: 7+ Months Contract

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a Procurement Consultant providing technical assistance, coordination, and support to the Department's Early Steps Program office by working 0 to 40 hours per week as directed bythe Department to assist the Department's Early Steps Program with planning, drafting, revising, and finalizing an assigned procurement from inception through advertising and final award to providers of services.
  • Construct and assemble data for decision making by the Department in a timeframe directed by the Department. . Meet with the Department's program management and contract management staff as requested by the Department. . Revise procurement documents related to the procurement as requested for review and approval by the Department.
  • Develop conclusions and present high-level summaries of work progress and work completed as directed by the Department.
  • Submit an activity summary and timesheet weekly to the Department's Contract Manager for review and approval

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a state of Florida employee responsible for competitive procurement in a purchasing office or experience drafting and coordinating competitive procurements and grant documents for a program office.
  • Must have a minimum of five years' of experience with fiscal management work.
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience serving as a state of Florida reviewer or negotiator on a competitive procurement team.
  • Must have five years' of experience coordinating major projects or operations within a state of Florida agency program
