Medallila Developer / Technical Analyst

TEKsystems has a part time role for a Medallia Developer that can sit remote.
Our client is looking for a part-time Medallia Developer /Technical Analyst who's familiar with the Medallia Experience Cloud.
***this work can be accomplished in the evenings or weekends if necessary, if the consultant has a full-time job***
For the first 2 months of this assignment the consultant would work 5 - 10 hours/week, and beginning in mid-October he/she would ramp up to 20 hours/week. The initial contract is through March 2026 and is budgeted for 520 total hours.
Ideally the candidate will work regular business hours but work during the evenings and/or weekends is acceptable (i.e. if the consultant has a regular, full-time job).
Their GX or Guest Experience team (basically the Voice of the Customer (CX) team) collects guest feedback via surveys, emails, etc. For 10 years they've used Medallia as the platform to build and deploy guest surveys to collect feedback. They have historically utilized a partner for technical implementations to design new surveys for HTML and CSS, and to assist with the backend data management and data architecture. They are looking to bring some or all of this work in-house and supplement a contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in configuring and customizing the Medallia platform, ensuring the platform aligns with stakeholder strategy
- Build and/or modify core guest-facing GX surveys (both front-end and back-end management) that match business requirements (provided by GX team)
- Build dashboards and reports within Medallia platform
- Partner with client's data engineering team to facilitate file transfers and align on data architecture
- Troubleshoot platform issues (bugs, downtimes, etc.)
- Oversee and approve user access for client's employees
- Proactively communicate project status and/or blockers to GX team
Required Technical Skills:
1) Medallia Experience Cloud
- Medallia certification is a nice-to-have but not a requirement
2) Data Integration and Management
- understanding of SFTP, JSON, XML, and CSV file formats
- experience with APIs and ETL
- ability to ingest and normalize data from multiple sources
3) Backend Coding
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
4) Quality Assurance
- familiarity with UAT plans and QA frameworks for new releases

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
