Overview

Lead cross-functional, high-visibility initiatives central to a large servicing transformation (legacy platforms AFSVision). You ll own cross-pod orchestration, convert business intent into signed-off future-state packages, and ensure deliverables meet program quality bars and are test-ready. Expect broad engagement across Commercial Lending Operations and partner lines of business, with heavy facilitation and decision enablement.

What you ll do

  • Define scope & approach for division/department initiatives; direct and monitor resources and work plans.
  • Plan/chair summary & decision meetings; synthesize pod inputs into clear recommendations and drive sign-offs.
  • Set the quality bar for workflows, requirements, and traceability; ensure audit-ready documentation aligned to regulatory expectations.
  • Partner with platform SMEs (strategic implementation partner) to reconcile business needs with AFSVision capabilities; document trade-offs/gaps and close decisions.
  • Lead/coordinate multi-team delivery (up to ~10 20 contributors); may directly manage staff.
  • Track milestones/KPIs, manage RAID, escalate blockers, and report statrisks to leadership.
  • Engage broadly across Commercial Lending Operations, Commercial/Business/Private Banking, and Risk/Compliance.
  • Adhere to client risk, regulatory, and internal control standards; support audit and governance requirements.

Required qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Senior track leading large, complex programs; Bachelor s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Domain: Experience with Loan Servicing operations/technology; AFSVision strongly desired (LoanIQ/Fiserv valuable).
  • Delivery leadership: Proven success leading multi-pod/workstream initiatives (system migrations, business transformation) with measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitation & documentation: Executive-level facilitation; ability to produce/oversee future-state workflows, requirements, and test-ready artifacts.
  • Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) required; Visio/Miro for mapping, Smartsheet/Project for planning (helpful).
  • Onsite cadence: Able to work in Buffalo, 3 days/week (no remote).

Preferred qualifications

  • Banking/Financial Services background; regulated-industry experience with strong governance orientation.
  • Experience presenting to governance forums; comfort navigating competing stakeholder priorities.
