Position Title: Azure Data and Cloud Solutions Architect
Job Location: San Jose, CA/Salt Lake, UT(Onsite)
Joining Mode: Long Term Contract
Job Descriptions:
- Need strong on Data modeling and Data structure with optimization exp
- The Data and Cloud Solutions Architect will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing the organization's cloud-based data ecosystem.
- This role requires strong data engineering expertise, hands-on experience building scalable cloud data solutions, and the ability to communicate complex designs clearly through diagrams and documentation.
- Core Responsibilities
- Cloud Data Architecture & Strategy
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud-based data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Lead the selection, integration, and configuration of cloud-native data services (e.g., storage, compute, analytics).
- Develop cloud data strategies aligned with organizational goals and technical standards.
- Diagramming & Documentation
- Produce clear and visually informative architecture diagrams (data flow, system architecture, ER diagrams).
- Maintain thorough documentation including technical decisions, architecture standards, and data workflows.
- Hands-on Implementation & Optimization
- Actively implement, configure, and deploy cloud data solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across data pipelines and analytics platforms.
- Troubleshoot data quality, reliability, and availability issues.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in distributed computing environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred).
- Strong expertise with distributed processing and big data tools (e.g., Spark, MapReduce).
- Deep understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
- Strong proficiency with both relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Exceptional skills with diagramming tools such as Lucid chart, Draw.io, or Visio.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
- Experience with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong understanding of data security and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting/query languages (Python, SQL).
