Overview

The Atlassian Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for the expert management of the Atlassian tool suite within an enterprise setting. This includes ensuring the tools are configured, administered, and customized to meet the needs of large organizations. The role will also focus on integrating these tools with other systems and automating processes to improve efficiency and performance.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive experience with Atlassian tools to provide enterprise-level configuration, administration, and troubleshooting across the suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
  • Manage, configure, and customize Atlassian products for large organizations to ensure system scalability, optimal performance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and automate processes, leveraging tools such as Jira Automation, scripts, and REST APIs.
  • Other duties as assigned .


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience with the Atlassian tool suite at the enterprise level.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in managing, configuring, and customizing Atlassian products for large organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrating Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and automating processes.
  • Demonstrated two (2) years of experience in leading a team of administrators, providing tiered support for Atlassian tools, managing user permissions, security configurations, and ensuring the tools are aligned with organizational requirements and workflows.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite, leadership abilities, and technical expertise in system integration and process automation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time .
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.

Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
