Job Details

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role is with a manufacturing company onsite in San Antonio, TX. This is a 6+ month contract position.

Shift:
Monday-Friday 7 am- 4 pm. OT required occasionally on Fridays or Saturdays
Pay: $45- $52 per hour, W2H

Responsibilities:
  • Support Engineering projects in developing and executing manufacturing plans
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to set up manufacturing processes, layout updates, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment design to verify they're accuracy
  • Will prepare plans and coordinate multifunctional reviews
  • Maintain records and run/present executive reports

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process with a demonstrated history of completing projects and leading new process setup
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD Experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProE, similar software
  • Experience with ERP systems and simulation software
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, cycle time analysis, ergonomics, and facilities/layout design
  • Working knowledge of advanced quality control tools, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., PFMEA, Pareto analysis, SPC).
  • Strong leadership skills, including managing engineering teams and projects
  • Experience in preparing and managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication for creating technical documentation, reports, presentations, and working with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems
  • Experience with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and industry-specific regulations
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing work environments
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment installations and tooling setup, systems integration and automation processes

Desired Requirements:
  • Team Center and NX experience
