Python Full Stack Engineer (Web Applications)
Day1 Onsite - Santa Clara, CA
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development life cycle including design, coding, testing and release for internal tools and customer-facing products
- Develop full-featured web applications
- Build and scale back-end services, web services, RESTful APIs and microservices
- Build reusable code and libraries with performance and security in mind
- Collaborate closely with team members and Product Managers to gather requirements, design, implement and release solutions
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of the full web development life cycle
- 6+ years of full-stack web development experience
- Backend experience with Linux, databases and application servers
- Frontend experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Laravel, jQuery and AngularJS
- Experience with databases SQL
- Proficiency with Git or equivalent version control tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch or MongoDB
- Experience with Docker
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
