Description

SAIC is hiring for a fully remote Cache MUMPs Developer. This individual will work for the Health Data Repository (HDR) team and will take charge of leading all Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) support as well as overseeing the Health Informatics Development Unit (HIDU) release processes for the Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW).

This role is crucial for supporting the Inquiry Routing & Information System (IRIS) 2024 upgrade across all VistA sites and ensuring that system improvements enhance user experience. This role involves testing changes across lower environments to prevent defects from reaching production and support application development and improvements.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in Cache ObjectScript and MUMPS programming languages.
    Strong understanding of VistA architecture and functionalities.
    Familiarity with application development processes and tools.
    Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
