Job Details
Our client, a leading government integrator located at Port Hueneme, is in need of a Secret cleared Field Service Representative on an initial 8 month contract. The Field Service Rep will work onsite daily and will serve as a subject matter expert on the operation, testing, maintenance, and support of tactical radio systems for NECC end users. Responsibilities include providing operations training, assisting in system architecture development, supporting network and communications integration (e.g., SATCOM, MUOS, BFT), and maintaining C4 SOPs. The FSR will also handle basic maintenance tasks such as software updates and COMSEC initialization, provide ongoing technical support during training and exercises, and report weekly to NECC leadership.

Required Skills:
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, with 6+ years supporting military and tactical radio communications, including systems (AN/PRC-152A, 117G, 160, 163, 167, RF-7850).
- Hands-on experience with radio configuration, BIT, software loading, COMSEC initialization, JOSEKI key management, and system maintenance without voiding warranties.
- Proven ability to train, advise, and supervise personnel in the setup, use, and troubleshooting of communication systems in field and tactical environments.
- Strong understanding of IP networking and secure communications including SATCOM, MUOS, HF, VHF, UHF, MANET, LOS, mesh networks, NetOps, COP, and BFT/PLI.
- Skilled in developing SOPs, contributing to mission planning, and supporting special operations communications functions
- Ability to create and follow SOPs and report weekly to leadership with updates and technical feedback.
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Prior Military or DoD experience
- Familiarity with ISR platforms and integrating voice/data systems into tactical environments.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certifications
- Cisco CCENT, CCT, CCNA, and/or CCDA certifications
