Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project/Product Manager who will support our client. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex projects, defining product strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value. This role sits at the intersection of product innovation and project execution, requiring both strategic vision and tactical excellence.
Duties:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact government projects and/or digital products.

Develop and manage project/product roadmaps aligned with agency goals, contract requirements, and compliance standards.

Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including IT, policy, legal, and external government stakeholders.

Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and communications meet federal/state/local regulatory requirements.

Monitor project progress and mitigate risks while maintaining scope, timeline, and budget.

Translate stakeholder needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.

Manage contracts, procurement timelines, and government reporting obligations.

Implement Agile or hybrid methodologies tailored to government project constraints.

Facilitate status meetings, compliance audits, and stakeholder reviews.
Mandatory Qualifications: (must be qualifiable)

Bachelor's degree in public administration, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

PMP Certified

5+ years of experience in project and/or product management, with at least 3 years working on government-related projects.

Strong knowledge of public sector regulations, procurement processes, and reporting standards.

Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams in complex, compliance-driven environments.

Experience working closely with technical teams and understanding of software development lifecycle.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).

Strong communication skills, especially in navigating bureaucratic and multi-stakeholder environments.
Desirable Qualifications:

Certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma.]

Background in data analysis or working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
