Job Description:

• Senior Systems Analyst
• Client is seeking a dynamic contract Senior Analyst to join our team.
• The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in I.T as a Analyst or equivalent role.
• A Senior Analyst level works fairly independently and is competent to work on the most complex projects at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
• This Analyst formulates or defines system scope and objectives based on user needs, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time and for of desired results.
• Responsible for working with multiple business areas in multiplatform environments.
• Monitored on project progress and results.
• Errors in deliverables may cause delay, expense and disruption.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate Analyst deliverables, and provide updates on progress towards those deliverables
• Document requirements, use cases, data models, systems interfaces, wireframes, and related Analyst deliverables
• Investigate defects and enhancement requests
• Analyze and compare alternative solutions, and make appropriate recommendations
• Interacts regularly with Business customers, Business Analysts, other Systems Analysts, Architects, Developers and Software vendors on the full lifecycle of multiple highprofile projects
• Experience planning and leading software production implementations and establishing post golive activities including ongoing support.
• Create and execute detailed test scripts.
• Provide root cause analysis of operational issues and application defects.
• Provide low level analysis and design for development and maintenance of supported applications.
• Analyze new requirements and identify solution alternatives and define detailed system modifications.
• Provide leadership for small efforts and mentor junior team members
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned
• Support daily operations of diverse application portfolio.

Technical Skills:
While client is looking for broad technical aptitude and a quick study rather than any specific required technologies, knowledge of the following technologies would be a plus:

• Database skills with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server covering DDL, DML and stored procedures.
• Application support including IIS, scheduled tasks, services, and configuration.
• Familiarity with SharePoint
• SAP experience is a plus
• Operating Systems: MS Windows XP/7, MS Windows Server 2016 +, some Linux
• iOSbased mobile
• Cloud & Containerization - AWS, Kubernetes
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash

What are the top "nice to have" skill sets?

• Experience deploying COTS application
• Debugging and reverse engineering
• Strong analytical ability

What education and certifications/licensures are required?

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent engineering or businessrelated field strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $52.00 - $54.52

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
