Location Requirement: Role is fully Onsite.

Candidate must be a CURRENT SC Resident. No relocation allowed

Migrate Oracle Spatial database maintained through Geomedia to a SQL database maintained through ESRI Roads and Highways on-premise. This project will include the conversion of the database and a software upgrade.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce digital/hard copy maps in advanced GIS/Mapping applications
  • Perform GIS data collection, maintenance and analysis
  • Update database tables to reflect changes to the GIS features used in GIS analysis and in mapping as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Perform quality control on the new and existing data to maintain correctness and spatial accuracy standards
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals
  • Completes software/procedures research/testing as assigned by the manager
  • Performs related tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience working with GIS/Mapping software and applications.
  • Experience working with a spatial database, Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with cartography.
  • Experience with database design
  • Bachelor s degree, Preferred field of study includes Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or Physical Science

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS Pro.
  • Experience with a SQL database.
  • Experience with ArcGIS roads and highways extension
