The Manager - ServiceNow Change Management is a key contributor to the successful delivery of Maximus IT governance and is responsible for the development, management, and execution of IT Change Management services. This position works closely with enterprise leaders and IT personnel in the delivery of assigned services ensuring compliance with Change Management policies, standards, and processes. This position supports the delivery of governance, risk, and compliance objectives by identifying and delivering evidence artifacts for IT external audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the daily execution, reporting, and delivery of IT change management activities in ServiceNow. Assess daily IT change requests and execute CAB authorizations according to IT change management policy and processes.

- Manage and oversee the structured process that assesses, plans, reports, and properly authorizes changes within IT environments, ensuring all changes are implemented in controlled manner in compliance with policy and procedural requirements.

- Provide guidance and education to the organization, change owners, and stakeholders in topics related to IT change management and IT governance, risk, and compliance.

- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of IT change management services; make and implement recommendations for continual service improvement. Ensure performance targets are met for IT change management and IT governance, risk, and compliance.

- Coordinate and collaborate interfaces between IT change management and other processes, and drive adoption of process automations and efficiencies to support Agile and DevSecOps release methodologies and pipelines.

- Monitor performance of subordinates according to established monitoring standards; conduct performance appraisals, make decisions on personnel actions including hiring, firing, and disciplinary action.

Coordinates and collaborates interfaces between IT change management and other process and drives adoption of process automations and efficiencies to support Agile and DevSecOps release methodologies and pipelines.

Coordinates and comunicates with Senior Leadership, BRMs, Security, Audits, and IT Teams regarding change management activities, status, and reporting.

Supervise, manage, train, and mentor staff.

Leads by example and acts as a role model for Maximus ethics, integrity, and professional conduct.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

8+ years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in an operational or development role.

3+ years of experience in IT change management, release management, or configuration management.

5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure systems is a plus.

Experience with AWS cloud services and complex global IT environments strongly preferred.

Experience identifying and delivering IT artifacts and evidence in support of IT audits is preferred.

Experience with NIST, SOC, SOX, MARS-E, FedRAMP, and/or Federal ATO controls.

Hands on Experience with ServiceNow- ITSM Module.

Solid understanding of IT service management, Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps pipeline technologies.

Preferred Certifications: ITIL, AWS CCP or higher.

Strong relationship management skills; able to interface effectively with all organizational levels; users, team members, and management.

Strong time management and planning skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.

Ability to articulate complex issues, plans, and concepts to diverse populations - including executive management.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
