Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sr. Leader - Sales to spearhead all revenue growth initiatives across our IT services portfolio. This executive will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy, overseeing the full sales ecosystem including farming (expanding existing client relationships) and hunting (acquiring new business).
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in IT services sales, with a strong preference for experience in Oracle solutions and services. Candidates who have successfully performed in a similar leadership role within the past five years will be given priority consideration.
This is a high-impact role requiring strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and growth strategy aligned with company goals to maximize revenue and market share in the IT services domain.
- Lead and manage the entire sales organization, including hunting and farming teams, account management, and relationship management functions.
- Build and nurture strategic customer relationships to ensure long-term account retention and growth.
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying, pursuing, and closing large IT services deals, with a special focus on Oracle services and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, delivery, and product teams to ensure alignment and seamless customer experience.
- Forecast and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline, and market trends to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
- Champion customer-centric sales culture and develop sales enablement tools and training programs to enhance team performance.
- Represent the company in key client and industry forums, conferences, and executive engagements.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing sales leadership team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all sales activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT services sales leadership, with proven success in managing large, complex sales teams.
- Deep domain expertise in IT services with a strong emphasis on Oracle technologies and related service offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead both hunting (new business) and farming (account growth) teams effectively.
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets and driving profitable growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities in building, mentoring, and scaling high-performance sales organizations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working with global clients and managing multi-geography sales operations is a plus.
