Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set technical direction, define architecture, and make strategic decisions to ensure project success.
- Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and quality assurance.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation in alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Champion the use of new technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience developing frontend and orchestration layers using technologies such as Java Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end UI development frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing unit, integration, and functional automation tests.
- 5+ years of experience in database technologies, including MongoDB, SQL Server, Postgres, and related platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of information and application security (LDAP, certificates, public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, etc.).
- Experience in providing production support and leading incident resolution efforts, collaborating with both business and technical teams.
- Expertise in build automation, CI/CD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins, Atlassian Suite, Git, Artifactory).
- Strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (EKS, Docker, OpenShift).
- Proven track record working in Agile environments; experience with modern delivery methodologies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure code quality, challenge ideas constructively, and drive efficient, scalable solutions.
