Our client, a highly regarded luxury residential real estate company with nearly 20 upscale properties nationwide, is seeking a proactive Application Support Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, you ll support the overall internal application environment including financial applications, property management systems, company Intranet systems, & JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 environment across multiple business functions with an emphasis on day-to-day system support, configuration, and user troubleshooting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, multi-department setting and enjoys optimizing enterprise software for real-world operations. This role requires 3 days onsite, the office is located near Willis Tower, downtown Chicago.
Required Responsibilities:
Application Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide front-line support for JD Edwards 9.2 users across various departments, including Property Management, Operations, and Finance.
- Troubleshoot and support applications with eventual transition to new system years later.
- Investigate, resolve, and document application issues ranging from user access to functional errors and data inconsistencies.
- Work directly with end users to replicate issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes or enhancements.
System Configuration & Maintenance
- Perform light configuration of JDE modules, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Job Cost, as needed for operational effectiveness.
- Maintain application tables, menus, and system settings to ensure data reliability and usability.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring issues or inefficient processes and suggest system-based improvements to drive productivity.
- Stay current with JDE capabilities and participate in minor enhancement projects or patch testing as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting applications, ideally in a cross-functional or operational environment.
- Understanding of JDE module setup and usage, especially AP, GL, and related core modules finance knowledge is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with application support of ERP systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a friendly, business-facing demeanor.
- Ability to manage support requests, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be onsite 3 days per week, corporate office location near Willis Tower
