We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to lead investment performance analysis and GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) compliance initiatives. In this critical role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on performance measurement, drive the GIPS compliance framework, and build robust data solutions to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in performance analytics, a deep understanding of GIPS standards, strong SQL expertise, and a strategic mindset to optimize data processes across the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management, validation, and analysis of complex investment performance data across multiple strategies and products.

  • Oversee the production and maintenance of GIPS-compliant composites, disclosures, and supporting documentation.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for GIPS verification engagements and internal/external performance audits.

  • Design and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across performance, attribution, and risk systems.

  • Build and maintain advanced performance dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Partner with investment teams, compliance, client reporting, and technology to ensure data accuracy, regulatory alignment, and operational efficiency.

  • Proactively identify and lead performance process improvements, including automation and enhanced data governance practices.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GIPS standards and performance measurement best practices; drive internal education and updates.

  • Document methodologies, data sources, and workflows with precision for audit readiness and operational transparency.

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performance data analytics function within the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in investment performance analysis, performance reporting, or investment operations with a strong GIPS focus.

  • Expert knowledge of GIPS standards and composite management.

  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

  • Deep understanding of performance measurement methodologies (TWRR, MWRR, attribution analysis, ex-post risk metrics).

  • Experience with performance, risk, and accounting systems (e.g., FactSet, Eagle PACE, Clearwater, Morningstar Direct, SS&C, Bloomberg PORT).

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity, process improvement, and scalability.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at various levels.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) strongly preferred.

  • CFA charterholder or progress toward CFA designation is a plus.

Estimated Min Rate: $52.50
Estimated Max Rate: $75.00
