Job Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid)

Job Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Specialist/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling large datasets, possess strong analytical skills, and could recommend and implement tools to streamline data management processes for non-technical users. This role involves not only data analysis and manipulation but also the development of user-friendly systems and providing training to ensure effective data management/administration going forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets in Excel to develop a solution that can be easily maintained.
  • Evaluate current data management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement tools or software solutions to streamline data management for non-technical users.
  • Develop user-friendly templates or databases to organize and manage data efficiently.
  • Provide training and support to non-technical users on how to utilize the recommended tool(s), ongoing administration, and maintain data integrity.
  • Work closely with subject matter expert to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Create documentation and user guides for newly implemented data management systems.
  • Evaluate existing data management processes and tools to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Recommend and implement tools or software solutions to streamline data management/administration for non-technical users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis using Excel, MS Access.
  • 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience with database management systems, SQL or Python.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience providing training or support to end-users preferred.
  • Experience with People data or Compensation data preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles and practices.
  • Certification in relevant data analysis or management tools is a plus.

Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $60.00/hour-$70.00/hour.
