Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a UX Software Engineer for a contract position in Austin, TX(Hybrid). The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
You will create engaging and intriguing customer experiences using the latest in modern design and technologies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, designers, and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Create engaging and intriguing customer experiences using the latest in modern design and technologies
- Fine-tune experiences to provide best-in-class performance and accessibility
- Elevate technology and consistently apply best practices for continuous improvement
- Excel in a fast-paced agile environment, in small groups and individually, delivering on multiple priorities with little supervision
- Be responsible for and fully own the products you create with your team
Qualifications:
- Using front-end languages including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 to build public-facing, enterprise web applications
- In-depth knowledge of user interface models, enterprise application design, and website functionality
- Concepts and practical application of Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 and later), SEO, and UX Performance
- Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha, JEST, Selenium)
- Prototyping tools such as Figma, WebFlow, and Sketch
Preferred:
- 8 years of experience in relevant field
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Modern back-end programming languages
- Building APIs/Micro-Services/Micro-Front-Ends
