  1. Senior IT Systems Engineer - Performance Monitoring (Lead Network Management Engineer): Responsible for the operations, configuration, and maintenance of network management tools in order to effectively monitor network resources, availability, and alerting of network performance issues.  Working knowledge of LAN / WAN configurations, Switches, Routers and security appliances. Perform network performance baseline activities.  Working knowledge of SolarWinds or other tool/sets for Management and Monitoring of Network resources and virtualization environments such as VMware and vSphere. Expert technical depth with infrastructure and event monitoring best practices including experience and ability defining and maintaining metrics and KPI's for infrastructure monitoring.   Experience in the design/implementation of networked environment monitoring, thresholds, and alert solutions to include thresholds and alert trigger conditions.  Performs analysis of day-to-day network performance against baseline measures to identify anomalies and/or network performance degradation impacting the availability of mission enabling network services.  Lead and participate in the assessment and selection of the network performance and management tools/systems for existing and new network technologies and services. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology
    • A minimum of 10 years’ experience with 8 years’ experience supporting network performance management operations for an enterprise network equal to or greater in size and complexity as described throughout the PWS.
    • SolarWinds Certified Professional – Network Performance Monitor (NPM); And at least one additional certification in a technology area required for this contract such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, Red Hat Linux, VMware, or similar.
