Job Description:
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Position Summary:
SAP Supply Chain Planning functional Consultant is an important position in the ERP team where you will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, architects and ensure timely delivery of compliant quality solutions in area of Supply chain planning processes in S4 PPDS, IBP & CPI-DS
Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this job is to monitor & troubleshoot issues in daily required processes, deliver enhancements, and system fixes in SAP (RICEFW) when required to enhance business functionality.
Responsible for overall release management in SAP related to Supply chain planning processes including but not limited to IBP, sales and operation planning, supply planning, production planning/detailed scheduling (PPDS), inventory planning, etc.
SAP Supply Chain Planning consultant capable to provide solutions to complex medium term (tactical) and operational planning methodologies.
Work with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation partners to enable business outcomes and ensure optimal functionality of SAP.
Provide technical guidance and effort estimates on new solutions to optimize business expansion, ensure they are well documented and simple to understand.
Provide support for ongoing operations and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Responsible for change management communication, accountable for user acceptance tests and documentation prior to going live, and post go-live production support handover.
Ensure adherence to global SAP design and architecture and participate in architecture review boards as needed.
Responsible for ensuring all changes/enhancements meet required quality and compliance requirements (GxP, SOX)
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and configuring solutions (RICEFW) in area of Supply chain planning processes using S4 ePPDS and/or IBP.
Detailed hands-on / customizing knowledge of SAP S4 (MM/PP) and S4 ePPDS is a must.
Knowledge of APO, ePPDS, S4, SAP IBP, and SAP HANA Enterprise is a pre-requisite.
Good understanding in the following areas: Sales and Operation planning, Demand planning, Production planning/Detailed Scheduling, Deployment Planning, and Inventory Planning.
Knowledge in integrations technologies using SAP PO, SAP CPI, and experience in working with Solution manager and ServiceNow for release management.
Good understanding of SAP IBP modules (Response and Supply, Inventory, Sales and Operation Planning, Supply Chain Control Tower), and integration with S/4 HANA.
Actively contributing to daily support with focus on SAP ePPDS module in S/4 HANA including Incident management, Change management, and Problem management
Solid understanding and practical experience in incident and ChaRM process as well as in management of external service provider
Experience in development/configuration/solution evaluation/validation and deployment
Good analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and with written communications.
Ability to listen, hear, and translate complex business requirements in simple easy to understand language.
Capable of managing multiple projects and competing requirements with good time management skills.
Ability to document, validate, challenge business requirements and translate them into functional IT specifications. And select the correct solution (direction) that corresponds with the functional specifications.
Strong customer focus, result-oriented and drive for excellence.
Functional Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of IBP and SAP ePPDS module and integration of IBP to S/4. Non-Negotiable: Detailed understanding of S/4 ePPDS and good understanding of planning business processes as it relates to Demand and Supply.
At least 1-2 implementations and 8-12 years of relevant experience in SAP ePPDS (preferably in S/4 HANA).
In depth knowledge in PP/DS Heuristics and optimizer.
Extensively worked upon Detailed Scheduling board and its interactive functionalities both on on-premises and FIORI.
Crystal clear understanding of CIF, its integration and master requirement of ePPDS.
Hands on experience with alternative resource determination - using SAP ePPDS - in case overloads.
Well equipped with identifying the optimal lot sizes for in-house production or external procurement and changing the planning situation (why-why analysis) via interactive planning using PPDS.
Implementation and configuration experience preferred. However, if candidate has worked on support and roll out projects that experience should also be considered. IBP is a relatively new solution from SAP so candidates that have done APO in the past can also pick up IBP.
Understanding of how DS tools in ePPDS work & help businesses in day-to-day functioning is expected.

Good understanding of business processes in the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical domain and compliance with GxP.
Knowledge in: SAP modules of Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Sales and Distribution (SD).
APICS certification preferred.
