Job Details

We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer Audio/Video

Location : Scotts Valley/CA

Day 1 Onsite

5 Days/Week

  • 5 to 8 years of experience

Technical Skills:

  • Create new or updated documents explaining the knowledge and how to perform the following projects / tasks.
  • Manage users, groups, locations as required.
  • People who have worked on Alexa, Siri, Apple Homepod, etc.
  • We can also consider people who have worked on cell phone products - Apple, Samsung, Motorola, Google, etc.
  • Hardware test engineering experience on audio / video products such as Poly, Bose, Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Learn how to and create new analysis reports/charts as required.
  • Manage and contribute to current projects in development and future projects.
  • Learn, support, upgrade, and deploy processes used on test system, local servers, and HP servers.
  • Installs renewal license. Creates collection items restricted to admin. Corrects entries as needed. Trains new users. Reviews TE Change Notices (TECNs). Works with vendor HX3 to resolve issues. Notifies users of changes.
  • Monitors PD Xpert server for issues. Deletes older automatic backups as documented. Creates full backups of working database. Copies working backup to development server. Validates new versions on development server then roles out to working server.
  • Creates new entries in repositories belonging to Test Engineering.
  • Using Team Forge, assigns access rights for new and existing users to new and existing projects Learn, support, upgrade, and deploy code used to convert XML data.
  • Learn, support, and update lookup files used to validate Sigma Probe XMLs.
  • Issue MAC addresses as needed by Development Engineering or Manufacturing. Document issued codes. Work with appropriate groups to order license keys when needed and update test system programs to use the license keys.
  • Issue barcode label codes or RFPI/IPEI codes as needed by Development Engineering or Manufacturing. Document issued codes.
  • Learn, support, and enhance the Delphi (Visual Pascal) code used by the MUTS test systems.
  • Learn, support, and enhance the hardware used by the MUTS test systems.
  • Certifications Needed:
  • Bachelor's or master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
