The ideal candidate for the Associate Engineer role at our Cambridge site is an entry-level to early-career professional with a Bachelor's in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's acceptable with limited experience) and 0-3 years of industry or internship experience. This hands-on, lab-focused position supports combination product development through equipment testing and system characterization. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, proficiency in Good Documentation and Laboratory Practices (GDP/GLP), and familiarity with 3D modeling, Python scripting, and data analysis tools like JMP or Minitab. The role requires the ability to perform lab testing, author technical reports, present findings, and work onsite. Reliability, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn are essential to supporting internal product development timelines.

Meticulously document experiment designs, material traceability, methods, techniques, results, and sample information in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).
Perform basic data analysis using statistics, drawing relevant conclusions from study data and working closely with other staff to communicate and document these findings.
Author and execute protocols and technical reports summarizing key findings and results.
Assess & recommend optimized lab workflows and product designs.
Provide detailed data analysis and recommendations to enable senior staff to make informed decisions.
Be comfortable with thinking outside the box and being self-motivated to further add value to the organization.
Basic Qualifications
