Description
We are looking for a skilled PC Technician for a contract position based in Buckeye, Arizona. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for computer systems, peripherals, and software applications, ensuring smooth operations for users. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software while delivering excellent service to end-users.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on computer systems and related equipment.
Install and configure operating systems, software applications, hardware, and peripherals.
Manage network accounts and provide access for students and staff.
Offer technical guidance and training to users on the proper use of technology.
Maintain and update the inventory of technology assets and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve software issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
Conduct basic repair analysis and coordinate warranty services or vendor repairs as needed.
Develop and distribute clear documentation to address frequently asked software questions.
Assist with district and site-based technology training sessions and workshops.
Provide walk-in support for student technology needs at the designated Tech Center.
Requirements
Proficiency in Dell Technologies hardware and systems.
Knowledge of EO/IR systems and their applications.
Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts and Active Directory administration.
Experience in configuring and deploying computer hardware and software.
Ability to perform deskside support and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Skilled in configuration management and maintaining inventory systems.
Excellent communication skills to support and train users effectively.
